The Impacts of Parking Reform
The Twin Cities region has joined a national trend towards reconsidering parking minimums. In doing so, cities are allowing dense, transit oriented development that in many cases would not have been previously possible. The TOD Office explored these reforms and the market's response in our Spring 2019 forum, The Impacts of Parking Reform in the Twin Cities. ULI Technical Advisory Panel - Development Opportunities
The ULI Technical Advisory Panel was a forum hosted by the TOD Office and the Urban Land Institute MN to explore several development opportunities on land owned by Metro Transit. The hour-long panel discussion was led by John Breitinger of Cushman & Wakefield. The focus was on six specific development sites located in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Fridley and Wayzata.
