Easy ways to pay

6-Hour Pass

Buy a 6-Hour Pass at any METRO ticket machine, the Metro Transit app or purchased online (coming soon). Your roundtrip is covered - no standing in the ticket line! It's valid for local bus and METRO line rides for six hours after first use. 

Pay using our mobile app

Use the Metro Transit app to purchase your bus, light rail or Northstar ticket in advance from your smartphone! You can purchase a 6-hour pass or any regular fare to get you there and back.

These bus routes stop near Target Field:

Save time and get a 6-Hour Pass, valid for unlimited local bus and light rail rides for six hours from time of first use. 

Bicycle

All buses and trains have free bicycle racks so you can take transit part of the way and pedal the rest. Get details on bike parking at Target Field.

 

Metro Transit Rail Train

METRO Blue & Green lines

Both light rail lines drop you off right at the ballpark. The METRO Green Line operates frequently from St. Paul, or park in one of 2,500 free spaces along the METRO Blue Line at the 28th Avenue or Fort Snelling stations. Buy a 6-Hour Pass, valid for unlimited local bus and light rail rides from time of first use – no standing in ticket lines!

You can also park in a downtown Minneapolis ramp and hop on a Blue or Green line train. Rides from downtown are just 50¢ each way. Buy a Downtown Zone roundtrip pass for $1 from a rail station ticket machine. Exit the train at Target Field Station.

If you're coming from the south metro, remember that METRO Red Line buses connect with a free transfer to the Blue Line at Mall of America for service to Target Field.
