Each station along the Blue Line not only has public art but each architectural design team included an artist.
This station was designed by Elness Swenson Graham, architects Thomas Rose, architectural design team artist
People affectionately refer to this station as “the roller coaster.” The architecture makes an artistic statement with a playful, urban feel that conveys a sense of energy. The dynamic wave of the roof is echoed by cast concrete benches on the platform. The illuminated station offers a lively image from office towers above as well as below at street level.
