Salary

Starting wage is $37.81/hr. (nearly $79,000 annually) and a $4,000 hiring bonus. By year 5, you’ll earn $50.41/hr. (almost $105,000 annually). Transferring officers earn an $8,000 hiring bonus!

If you’re just starting out, you’ll earn $37.81/hr. ($78,645 annually) and get a $4,000 hiring bonus.

• $1,000 after successful completion of the Academy
• $1,000 after completion of Field Training Officer
• $2,000 after completing probationary period (12 months after hire date)

By year 5, you’ll earn nearly $50.41/hr. ($104,853 annually).

Current officers: There’s an $8,000 hiring bonus for transfers from other departments.

• $4,000 upon six months of employment
• $4,000 upon 12 months of employment

There are ample opportunities for overtime.
